As a Risk Summer Associate based in Irvine, you will take an active role within the Global Risk Management organization. You will have the opportunity to interact with various teams within and outside Global Risk Management, utilizing both technical and interpersonal skills and providing valuable expertise on enterprise, operational, and/or 3rd party risk related to CG's core operational business and/or technology functions. This includes conducting risk assessments, trend analysis, risk reporting, and other targeted projects. Success in this role can lead to a full-time offer as a Risk Associate in Irvine.

  • You'll perform various risk management activities providing objective perspective to business areas across the organization

  • You'll have a meaningful project which will have an immediate impact on the business

  • You'll develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Computer Science, or related field with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026

  • You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

  • You can think independently, yet actively contribute in a collaborative environment.

  • You are a clear and thoughtful communicator

  • An understanding of risk, controls, and project management is a plus

Base Rate: $28.50/hour

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
