Overview

Are you up for challenges? CAES is looking for a Team Player to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at the Lancaster facility. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a rapidly changing production environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence. This position must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance to the level of Secret.

The Electronics Project Engineer provides technical, structural, organizational, and project leadership throughout the entire product development lifecycle to ensure successful production qualification of a given program. This role is responsible for coordinating and driving all engineering and development tasks on assigned programs. The Project Engineer works collaboratively with Program Management and with all levels of the organization to ensure all contractual elements of a given program are satisfied and to help ensure the defined project budget, scope, and schedule are maintained throughout the development process.

An ideal candidate applies their technical knowledge and structured project leadership techniques to leverage their formal education, technical training, supporting skill sets, and prior work experience to continuously reduce project risks throughout execution. This position is expected to operate independently with some management oversight as a project lead, as an individual contributor, as a technical consultant, as a project champion, and as structured product development mentor for other engineering staff.

This is a high exposure position for a technical leader looking for an opportunity to take things to the next level, advance their career, grow their soft skills, expand their influence in the company, and collaboratively lead high profile programs to success. This is a high value position with significant impact to the bottom line. Continuous improvement to process and effectiveness is the expectation and the norm. This is not a position for passive individuals needing daily task guidance or micro-management.
