- Application Management:
- Administer and support engineering applications such as PLM, CAD, and other engineering tools
- Ensure applications are updated, maintained, and properly configured to meet business needs
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for engineering applications
- Integration Development:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between engineering applications and other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure integration solutions meet business needs
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure continuous operation.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving application-related issues and ensuring minimal downtime
- Collaborate with software vendors and internal IT teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of engineering applications to ensure optimal functionality
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance application performance and user experience
- Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use and best practices of engineering applications
- Create training materials and user documentation to support ongoing education and development
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in projects related to the deployment, upgrade, or enhancement of engineering applications
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Technical degree with 5+ years in admin role
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in administering and integrating engineering applications
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining system integrations.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of engineering applications and their integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL).is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and latest innovation and new technology.
- Understanding of internal manufacturing and production systems such as ERP, PLM, KBE and how to interface with such systems to enhance or augment their capabilities.
- Experience with PLM, CAD, CAE, or similar engineering tools is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PLM/CAD administration, ITIL) are a plus.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $126,500 (+ bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
