Sr. Machine Maintenance Technician - Whitehouse, OH 1st shift, Job Summary: This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment, including but not limited to:
Requirements and Tasks: This position will support theEngineering Manager and the Maintenance Department in continual process improvementsto increase safety and machine uptime.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update, and store them.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing safety; ability to achieve safety and security requirements of manufacturing staff and work environment. Mechanical Assembly: Knowledge of various areas of mechanical assembly expertise, skills, and techniques; ability to perform mechanical assemblies and subassemblies and related tasks such as material procurement, process development, fabrication, and testing.
Robotics/Computer Controlled Machinery: Knowledge of robotics technologies and computer applications working principles and operation manuals; ability to implement and operate them in an automated manufacturing environment.
Industrial Automation/Automatic Control: Knowledge of various automatic control systems, processes, and methodologies in a manufacturing environment; ability to design, implement and maintain automatic production systems/processes to improve productivity and efficiency, as well as minimize human intervention. Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize and resolve technical (mechanical, electrical, systems or operational) problems in a manufacturing environment. Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed. Productivity Orientation: Knowledge of the factors that influence productivity and ability to maintain focus on organizational factors that maximize operational performance.
