Position Summary
This is a POOL position. Application materials for this adjunct position accepted on an on-going basis due to increasing demand for courses in this subject area.

The Workforce and Economic Development Division ( WED) of Metropolitan Community College is the leader in innovative workforce solutions and community enrichment. We partner to first develop our community in order to develop it economically for the growth of the Kansas City metro's citizens; families, businesses, industry, organizations, and associations.

As an instructor you will provide student drivers the skills and mental attitudes to become the most competent, skillful and responsible driver possible. The training will take place in a classroom, in-car observation, and actual behind-the-wheel driving.


Minimal Qualifications

  • Ability to teach minors (age 15, 16 or 17 years of age) entry level driving skills
  • Eight (8) years of driving experience
  • Registration through the State of Missouri Department of Health and Senior services for the Missouri's Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) is required (must be attached as other document 01)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory completion of motor vehicle record (MVR) check upon hire

    • A MVR check will be executed annually in adhere to MCC's Motor Vehicle Safety District Regulation (3.05170 DR)
