JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Behrend Office of Community and Workforce Programs is seeking a part time adjunct Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor for classroom training. Class will be held in person two evenings a week for 18 weeks with an online component for the students to work on their own.

  • Position will entail approximately 160 total hours for instructor

  • Prepare lectures and practical demonstrations for students in class

  • Assign work outside of the classroom

  • Monitor progress and attendance

  • Demonstration of customer service skills and professionalism is required

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of five years of experience. Preference given with previous experience teaching in an education setting.
