Daikin is looking for a Sr IT Infrastructure Azure Cloud Specialist to join our team! The Sr IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administration and support of infrastructure implementations. You will provide direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, design, coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to infrastructure / information systems, software, transaction monitors, and the range of products and productivity tools that support testing and production environments. A Day in the Life:
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions on the hosting platforms
- Azure Cloud Architecture: Develop and implement robust cloud architecture designs, incorporating best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization. Level 3 escalation for Azure cloud related issues
- Automation and Orchestration: Drive automation initiatives using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks. Implement CI/CD and DevOps model for Infrastructure as a code
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the integrity and security of infrastructure environments through proactive measures such as access controls and least privileged access.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure processes and practices
- Work closely with leadership, development teams, and application teams to align with Business requirements and strategies.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and provide training to team members as needed.
- Standardization: Write Azure Cloud Deployment standard and ensure the environment meets these standards.
- Based on business requirements and needs, initiate some new responsibilities and help to plan for the future of all infrastructure components
- Assesses and advises Management on determining next generation technology solutions.
- Participate as member of a project team and deliver infrastructure components according to requirements and timelines, including self management of small technology projects
- Participate in on-call duties on a weekly rotational basis
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

What you will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ year of Microsoft Azure cloud architect and design, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Experience automating provisioned servers in both physical and virtual environments
- Experience in SSL/TLS certificate management
- Hands-on experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs in a medium to large environment
- Experience designing and managing virtual infrastructure solutions in a medium to large environment
- Experience managing and maintaining server hardware lifecycle
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Preferred
- DevOps and CI/CD experience
- Relevant professional certifications such as Azure Cloud, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $141,000 + bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
