Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. About the Department The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is an ACS accredited department offering BA and BS degrees in Chemistry and in Biochemistry, and MS degrees in chemistry with thesis and non-thesis options. The department is comprised of research-active tenure line faculty and full-time teaching faculty. The department is housed on the Lincoln Park campus on the north side of Chicago with close proximity to public transportation.
