Position Summary To provide support to the Aquatics Manager & Assistant Manager in the oversight of the operations of the aquatics department, specifically focusing on the learn to swim program youth and adult, along with personnel oversight and the maintenance of daily operations. Essential Functions Position Focus:
Administration: Oversee/Manage all administrative processes for Kroc Learn to Swim Program, including, but not limited to:
Seasonal Expectations:
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be outside in different weather conditions or exposed to Ability to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Experience
Must possess and Maintain Current Certificates in American Red Cross First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) or above; CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR Pro) (required)
Documented Knowledge of Principles and Techniques of Aquatic Instruction and Coaching, Safety protocol (First Aid, CPR,); Personnel and Program Supervision; and Facility Oversight (required) 2 years: Minimum Seasonal Experience as Swim Instructor, preferably with experience overseeing people or programs.
