Job Summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a new member for the Systems Training Team within the Transformation & Development department. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide end-user training on systems and applications. The successful candidate will design, build, and deliver effective online courses, in-person, and virtual instructor-led courses. The position works with systems teams and business process owners across the organization.

The position requires strong internal and external relationship-building skills and behaviors, as well as being proactively involved with all stakeholders to stay informed of changes relevant to effective training programs. The ideal candidate is someone with strong organizational, analytical, technical writing, and system training skills who can work on diverse projects in a high-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.



Responsibilities

    • Creates and manages change and training project plans for system implementations.
    • Collaborate with business partners to understand IT solutions, business requirements and implementation plans.
    • Conducts needs analysis to determine size and scope and impact of change and training projects.
    • Determines the appropriate method of development for training inclusive of instructor guides, videos, job aids, on the job training exercises and user guides.
    • Design, develop and maintain instructional materials using applications and other tools for Instructor Led and digital/on-line training.
    • Conducts end-user system training, train the trainer and provides support to other trainers.
    • Coordinates training logistics, scheduling classes and, recording attendance in LMS.
    • Complete sustainability reviews to identify and update training content and communicates all updates to end-users.
    • Ensure awareness of available training content for end-users to access on a timely basis to support continued learning and reinforcement of skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree a plus
  • Experience with adult learning methodologies
  • Project management experience
  • 3+ years' experience developing system training documentation and delivering end user training
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new business systems
  • Experience with Enable Now a plus
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail necessary
  • Ability to travel 20%
