The Respiratory Therapist (RT) provides family-centered care as demonstrated by recognizing the patient, family and/or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient's preferences, values, and needs. The RT assumes an active role in clinical education of patients, families, and staff; and functions as a role model within respiratory and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, teamwork, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care. Department: South Campus Respiratory Therapy - Highlands Ranch Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy/ Care is required at the time of hire. Bachelor's degree in preferred. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience delivering respiratory therapy/care Certification(s): Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 90 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire if working in Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency Department Achievement and maintenance of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT-NPS) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) if working in an Ambulatory setting preferred. Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $59,514.35 to $89,271.53Hourly Salary Range: $28.61 to $42.92 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
