Location: Birmingham, AL - Onsite Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable HR Onboarding Coordinator to support the onboarding process for new employees. This individual will help ensure new hires have a smooth, organized experience from offer acceptance through their first days on the job. Responsibilities: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires from start to finish Communicate with incoming employees regarding onboarding requirements, start dates, and next steps Collect and maintain new hire paperwork and employee documentation Assist with employment verification, background screening, and other pre-employment requirements Enter and update employee information in HR systems Coordinate orientation schedules and ensure new hires are prepared for their first day Partner with HR, recruiting, hiring managers, and other internal teams throughout the onboarding process Maintain accurate employee records and ensure required documentation is completed Respond to new hire questions and provide a positive, professional onboarding experience Assist the HR team with additional administrative projects as needed Qualifications: At least 3 years experience in HR, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or a related administrative role preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable handling confidential employee information Ability to manage multiple new hires, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus Professional, responsive, and comfortable communicating with employees at all levels By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
