APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Design and develop complex network architectures and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments Create detailed network specifications, implementation plans, and technical documentation Evaluate, select, and integrate networking hardware, software, security tools, and cloud technologies Provide technical leadership and serve as a primary engineering contact on programs and projects Support current and future capacity planning while ensuring network performance, reliability, and security requirements are met Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative solutions for challenging technical problems Job Requirements What You'll Bring: 8+ years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, or related technical environments with a Bachelor's degree, OR 6+ years of experience with a Master's degree 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise or mission-critical network environments 5+ years of experience with network hardware and software technologies, including routers, switches, gateways, bridges, and related infrastructure 3+ years of experience serving as a technical lead, subject matter expert, or primary technical contributor on projects 3+ years of experience developing network architecture, specifications, implementation plans, or technical documentation What Sets You Apart: Space and ground mission systems experience AWS Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, Security Specialty, or equivalent cloud certifications Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, Palo Alto, or similar networking and security certifications Experience with AWS SC2S, GovCloud, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and hybrid-cloud architectures Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools Experience supporting SDA, PWSA, GMI, satellite ground systems, mission networks, or space vehicle integration programs IPv6 design, implementation, and migration expertise Team leadership and mentoring capabilities Strong analytical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills Experience leveraging AI-driven technologies, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and government security screening Overtime: May be required to meet program milestones and mission requirements In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
