TEACHING ASSISTANTS

We are seeking full-time and substitute Teaching Assistants. Applicants must have a minimum of Associates Degree, a Bachelors degree and Teaching Assistant certification OR Teaching Certification is preferred.                                                                                                                             Duties include working with individual students or groups of students on instructional projects or programs; implement and provide support for behavioral management strategies in instructional and non-instructional activities; assist students in the use of available instructional resources; serve as an appropriate role model to students; participate in staff development and training to maintain or develop increased professional capacity.

Excellent benefits including NYS retirement; salary is based upon experience and the CTA contract range is from $20,992 to $33,573
