Production Control Planner

dormakaba is seeking a Production Control Planner based onsite in Chino, CA. The Production Control Planner is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between production cells and departments to guarantee accurate and timely execution of orders, to satisfy Customers' needs. As part of this effort, the Production Control Planner creates and distributes production schedules; confers with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates; reviews inventory levels and participates in resolving production problems. They will keep Customer Service updated on the completion status of Sales Orders and will confirm lead time for potential and actual sales orders. The Production Control Planner coordinates with Purchasing to ensure raw materials, parts and components, provided by our suppliers are available to fulfill production needs and to maintain safety stocks.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $70,000 - $97,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

• Accurately create and maintain bills of material, routings, and work orders
• Accurately maintain MRP data to ensure proper stocking levels are kept and purchased parts and materials are delivered on time
• Plan and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Coordinate with other planners to establish sequence and lead time of each operation, to meet ship dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders
• Plan sequence of fabrication and assembly for manufacturing

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with additional college credits or degree preferred in business or supply chain management
• 3+ years of relevant production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in forecasting inventory purchasing requirements
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables , data analysis and reporting

• Strong understanding of Production and inventory management principles
• Ability to utilize MRP and ERP systems
