We have an exciting Truck Wash Team Member opportunity in our Southern, Iowa location. The Truck Wash Team Member scraps out, washes and disinfects trucks and trailers according to company processes and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shovel manure and woodchips, flush, pressure washwith hot waterand disinfect livestock trailers

• Unload woodchips from van trailers with a pallet jack

• Operate skid steer to remove woodchips from basket, unload pallets from van trailers, and clean floor drain pit

• Report any discrepancies in truck wash equipment or PPE to truck wash crew lead

• Maintain a clean work environment and general housekeeping items

• Pressure wash and disinfect trucks, mortality reclaim, maintenance or farm equipment as directed

• Adhere to inspection process for skid steer and shag truck prior to daily operation

• Operate bio-dry facilitiesin accordance withcompany guidelines

• Follow wash schedule as designed by truck wash crew leadin a timely manner

QULIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations preferred.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Theemployee must regularly lift and/or move up to10pounds, occasionallylift upto25 poundsandoccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability toadjust focus.

WORKENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend aportionof his time outside, at times in inclement conditions andfrequentlyexposed to fumes or airborne particles.The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
