Position Summary Odyssey offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Administrator with specialized experience in VMware and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments. This pivotal role supports the Strategic Warning and Space Surveillance Directorate CIO office (SSC/SZQY) at Peterson SFB, ensuring the seamless operation of network infrastructures crucial to missile warning systems. We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee the integrity, reliability, and security of our on-premises network infrastructure in a high-stakes defense setting. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:
Implement, maintain, and oversee virtualized network systems, focusing on VMware NSX and SDDC manager configurations.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance Certification: Must meet DoD 8570/DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 or 3 requirements with an approved baseline certification. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Years of Experience: 7 or more years of directly related experience; OR,
Additional Experience:
Preferred Qualifications: Clearance: Top Secret Certification:VMware VCP-NV and/or Cisco CCNA certifications are highly desirable. Education: Bachelor's degree Additional Experience:
