Position Summary

The Quality Process Analyst supports quality systems, controlled documentation process improvement and documentation management within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to review and update current process documentation including SOPs and work instructions, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure documentation accuracy. The Quality Process Analyst serves as a key contributor to process standardization, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness. Primary responsibility is to review, edit and upload documents in database, this person will have guidance from process experts if changes are needed. We do require a person that feels comfortable working on repetitive computer work for extended time and keep pace as it will be required to meet a daily quota on how many documents are being updated

Key Responsibilities



  • Retrieve, organize, and maintain files from company servers and document management systems.
  • Review SOPs, work instructions, and related documents for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and alignment with established business processes.
  • Evaluate existing processes, practices, and procedures to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process and review approximately 10-20 documents daily while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
  • Capture and maintain visual documentation, including photographs from the production floor, to support process verification and documentation updates.
  • Partner with supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to validate processes and ensure documentation reflects current operations.
  • Support business process analysis activities by documenting current-state processes and recommending future-state improvements.
  • Identify shortcomings in systems, workflows, and procedures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize data to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain moderately complex documentation using standard business applications and document management tools.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and process improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Support change management and process transformation initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure adherence to document control and knowledge management practices.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality, process improvement, document control, or business process analysis preferred.
  • Understanding of SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and quality systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with supervisors, engineers, and operations personnel.

Work Environment & Schedule



  • Onsite position in a manufacturing and production environment (Kohler, WI)
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Combination of office-based work and time spent on the production floor supporting documentation and process validation activities.
