Tactical Vehicle Test Coordinator

DCS is looking for a Test Coordinator to provide Developmental Test and Live Fire T&E support at Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), Aberdeen, MD, in support of PAE MC PM LAV program office.

This position is at a client site but may have an option for telework. It is possible that the option for teleworking could be eliminated in the future, so candidates must be willing to perform this role 100% on-site if required.

Essential Job Functions:

Participate in the execution of all test events.

Serve as on-site liaison at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland for the testing activities related to a USMC tactical ground vehicle program. This role will involve supporting two different OEM vendor teams, the PM LAV Test and Evaluation team leads for various types of testing (Live Fire, Automotive, RAM, etc), as well as the APG test agency personnel.

Provide daily written and oral reports to the PM LAV T&E Lead summarizing the status of the following: Test events/completions, test issues, and the overall test schedule assigned to the PM LAV Test Leads for the LRIP test team.

Provide recommendations within the authored daily test/situation reports based off of daily test observations and interactions with assigned test agency personnel.

Assist with the coordination of all PM LAV program approved visit requests.

Assist ATC Test Site Leads with daily program reporting requirements based on scheduled test events.

Act as main test site POC for all PM LAV program related test issues and provide immediate notification to PM LAV POT, RQT and Live Fire Leads for actions or requests requiring Government involvement.

Review all test planning documents for compliance with general test protocol and DoD guidelines that support individual program requirements and provide recommendations and edits to those documents.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience.

Able to perform tasks independently based on initial guidance.

Ability to converse and understand technical matters and also to be able to communicate technical matters to non-technical leadership.

Professional written and verbal communications skills.

Professional demeanor, etiquette and personal presentation suited for a customer-facing role.

Able to take leadership over tasks and exercise a healthy assertiveness as needed to solicit broad stakeholder involvement and to drive tasks to completion.

An affinity for thinking with a big-picture perspective and for foreseeing how small changes to requirements and schedule can have significant impacts on a larger scale.

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience.

Experience working within, or closely with, a Department of Defense program office.

Knowledgeable about tactical vehicle testing.

A familiarity with DoD acquisition organizational structure, culture and processes gained from military service or civilian/contractor employment in a DoD acquisition organization.

Thorough understanding of DoD Acquisition process and related requirements documents.

Familiarity with DoD contracts and contract deliverables.

Pay Range and Benefits: There are a variety of factors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range: $73,160 - $124,580
