Position Summary

Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for new Parts Finisher to help keep the world moving. The Shipping Tech helps support daily shipping operations by assisting the Supervisor and Lead with planning work, training team members, processing orders, and preparing shipments. This role works with Sales, PCNL, QA, and the shipping team to prioritize orders, schedule pickups, check parts and counts, clear ASNs, and help resolve issues that may delay shipments. The Shipping Tech also helps keep work organized, supports standard work, and works overtime when needed to make sure customer shipments are completed on time.

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our plants provide critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Data Processing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor in providing support and direction with daily operations.
  • Assist lead with training new operations and documentation (Pulling ship sets, printing labels, job verification, processing orders through precision, ASNs.).
  • Respond to Sales-related questions such as sending ship sets and prioritizing shipments.
  • Prioritize and allocate product to sales orders
  • Communicate with PCNL and QA on shipments, lot charges, and other aspects needed for shipping product
  • Clear ASNs by the end of the month by processing them or deleting them when needed.
  • Schedule Skid pickups
  • Assist in running shipping tables, pulling parts, boxing, and verifying counts.
  • Escalate breakdowns that limit or prevent team members from doing their job.
  • Uphold the standard of work, work with supervisor and or lead on making adjustments to the standard of work.
  • Assist supervisor in getting past day performance information.
  • Allocate and ship CTS within timely manners
  • Work OT to help ensure shipments are made to meet the customers demands (Coming in early, staying late, and working Saturdays as needed)
  • Schedule and set up the team on a day-to-day basis to maximize output
  • Organize shipments to maximize output.


  • Assist in any other duties requested by Parker.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience running a shipping table
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Able to effectively work with people in a team environment
  • Possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail oriented. Good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices.

Pay:
  • Starting Hourly Wage - $28.37
