SUMMARY

To provide user departments with supplies on a timely basis; to check, process and deliver supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supply Verification and Delivery.

• Objective: to verify received supplies with packing slips and deliver materials, equipment and supplies to users in a timely manner.

• Essential Job Functions:

• Checks delivered goods for hidden damage and reports any damage according to standard procedures.

• Verifies quantities and weights of contents against packing slip information.

• Delivers supplies within standard time frames allotted for "rush" and "regular" shipments.

• Operates forklift to unload delivery trucks and to delivery supplies.

• Processing and Administration.

• Objective: to accurately process supply shipments according to standard procedures.

• Typical Activities:

• Assures all documentation regarding delivery receipt is complete for computer input.

• Enters information into computerized system for all receipts.

• Processes signature sheets as required on all deliveries.

• Works with supervisor to process unidentified deliveries within appropriate time frames.

• Works with supervisor to process deliveries containing damaged goods.

• Processes Controlled Materials as specified by Quality Control Manual.

• Safety.

• Objective: to take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.

• Typical Activities:

• Adheres to plant and department safety rules.

• Safely operates all machines and equipment.

• Identifies and reports safety problems.

• Completes logs and records.

• Performs other tasks as directed.

• Training:

• Training is provided on the job.

• PCC's Fork Lift Driving Safety Certification Training must be completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Education & Experience

• Previous data entry experience or training.

• Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations.

• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing forty to sixty pounds and occasionally up to one hundred pounds.

• Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes and other elements for extended periods of time.
