Valora St. Anthony, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Director to join our growing team!

Valora St. Anthony is located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our community is easily accessible via major roads, including Highway 38 (St. Anthony Blvd) and Highway 65, making us a convenient option for employees in St. Anthony, Columbia Heights, Northeast Minneapolis, Shoreview, and Roseville. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 73-unit assisted living and care suites. Join our team today!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Weekend Manager on Duty Rotation Every 6-8 Weeks
Salary: $58,240-$66,560 annually

In this position isresponsible for meeting high standards in the areas of meal preparation, communication, record keeping, and effectively working withemployees,residents,and their families to ensure high quality and nutritional dietary services. Duties include:



  • Manageinventory and ordering of food and culinary supplies, includingreviewingandadheringto departmental budget.
  • Hire, train and supervise culinary employees.
  • Maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders such as residents, their families, staff, and the community.
  • Participate in facility leadership meetings, Interdisciplinary Team meetings, Quality Assurance/Improvement, CareConferences,and other facility meetings asrequired.
  • Interview residents and families to ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Nutritional monitoring of residents through assessments, progress notes and dietary care planning.
  • Process and review diet orders to ensure compliance with physician orders.
  • Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently toaccomplishworkload within time allotted.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Must have a current ServSafe Certification.
  • A minimumof oneyearexperience indietaryfield is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident'sfamiliesand employees.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of computer systems, including email use.
