Description The TPO Mortgage Systems Analyst - Third Party Lending analyzes, configures, and optimizes loan operating system configurations to support third-party mortgage origination processes, maximize system performance, and improve productivity. This role partners with Consumer Lending, third-party mortgage partners, and Digital Product teams to enable business and systems synergy, with a focus on supporting origination workflows within Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: What You'll Do:
- Partner with business unit managers, stakeholders, internal teams, third-party mortgage partners, and vendors to resolve complex issues, drive process improvements, and move changes through the change control process into production.
- Analyze, configure, interpret requirements, and optimize complex system configurations and file layouts to support third-party mortgage origination processes, upgrades, and requests that maximize system performance and productivity.
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Encompass loan origination system, including workflows, business rules, input forms, templates, and automation to support third-party origination activities.
- Coordinate integrations and data exchange between Encompass and third-party partners, point-of-sale solutions, and internal systems to ensure accurate, compliant loan data flow.
- Create, review, and interpret system maps and documentation; capture and articulate business requirements and functional specifications; provide status updates and ensure solution quality.
- Support origination system change requests, testing, validation, and deployment associated with third-party mortgage programs, investor requirements, and regulatory updates.
- Define, plan, launch, and drive new initiatives, including project timelines, plans, playbooks, expenses, communication, and training plans.
- Monitor system performance and partner-facing origination workflows, identifying and escalating exceptions and opportunities for improvement.
- Train and mentor Analysts and support end users on system functionality and third-party origination processes on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years in consumer lending, mortgage lending, and/or a Process Manager or Systems Analyst position.
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting third-party mortgage origination processes, partner/TPO channels, or correspondent lending preferred.
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology (loan origination system), including workflows, business rules, input forms, and integrations, strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of mortgage origination lifecycle, TPO/wholesale and correspondent lending workflows, and investor delivery requirements.
- Project coordination experience and knowledge of project life cycle and process change methodologies.
- Skilled in the design and modification of system mapping documents.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction.
- Highly organized with strong determination to pursue and solve complex issues, requests, or implementation of innovative ideas.
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex concepts, tailoring the message to a variety of audiences including senior leadership, technical teams, testers, third-party partners, and member support teams.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and third-party mortgage partners.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation, reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
- Ability to translate the needs of users and external entities into practical projects or tasks well integrated into the systems environment.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically.
- Knowledge of web technologies and databases; ability to read file layouts and analyze system requirements.
