Medical Lab Technician - Microbiology

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs, calculates and reports selected routine laboratory tests and helps maintain equipment. Recognizes abnormal results and instrument or quality control problems. Notifies supervisor and follows preset strategies to recheck these findings.

EDUCATION:

Medical Laboratory Technician certified or certificate eligible. If certificate eligible, certification to occur within 1 year of hire date. (Certification tracked by department).

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:

Weekend commitment is 1.5 weekends per month.
