Position: Induction Furnace Helper Location: Hartland, WI Shift: 1 st 5:00am - 1:00pm M-F Pay: $21.50 Job Summary Our client is seeking an Induction Furnace Helper to support the lead furnace operator in all activities within the furnace room during melts. This role acts as a second set of hands to assist with furnace operations in a demanding industrial environment. Candidates must be able to follow written procedures and verbal directions, work safely in extreme temperatures, and perform physical tasks in a dirty, hot industrial setting. Job Responsibilities Assist the lead furnace operator with all activities in the furnace room during melts Serve as a second set of hands to support furnace operations Follow written procedures and/or verbal instructions accurately Work safely in extremely hot and cold temperatures Handle materials and equipment as needed in an industrial environment Lift up to 50 lbs as required Maintain awareness of safety practices in a molten metal test furnace setting Perform additional duties as assigned May be considered for other opportunities within the plant when the assignment is complete Qualifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to work in a dirty, industrial environment Ability to tolerate extreme heat and cold Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team Previous industrial, manufacturing, or furnace-related experience is a plus, but not required Work Environment Dirty industrial environment Exposure to molten metal test furnace conditions Extreme hot and cold temperatures Physical, hands-on role requiring attention to safety
