Description Position Identification Non-exempt Reports to: Service Manager Position Objective The service - repair foreman is an important position in our company. The foreman's objective is to identify current and potential problem areas on a roof for our customers. The foreman will be assigned an apprentice or helper and must have the ability to problem solve and communicate with the customer, Service Manager. Job Functions
Identify the source of active roof leaks. Identify other potential problem areas on a roof system. Have knowledge on different types of roofing systems including but not limited to EPDM, TPO, Built up Roofing, multiple ply modified roofing, metal roofing and asphalt shingles. The ability to conduct hose tests on problem leak sources. Ability to use a Troxler #3216 roof moisture gauge to identify areas of wet roof insulation. Gain knowledge on mobile APPS such as FCS (facility control systems) Lowes, Target and Walgreens mobile APPS. Communicate with both the Service Manager and TMR sales representatives when other roofing opportunities are identified. Assemble roof repair quotes or inspections on company tablets through the FCS mobile APP. Be able to set up safety on projects in complete OSHA compliance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential)
3 - 5 years of experience in roofing, construction or a related field Ability to manage other workers, as well as schedule the work, tools, and materials needed each day. Solid project management skills Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable)
High School diploma or equivalent. Proven track record of reliability. Strong commercial roofing experience. General knowledge of "FCS" - TMR Roofings client database or willingness to learn. Medical Card

Working Conditions
Physical surroundings: Exposure to noise and temperature as well as exposure to typical hazards of jobsite, including ladders, construction materials, etc. Physical Effort: climbing ladders as well as general construction tasks. Domestic Travel: Local Extensive Hours: Subject to overtime
Compensation Opportunities:
Hourly wage ranging from $27.00 - $37.00 per hour based upon experience and education. Opportunity to "prevailing wage rates". Rates range from $50.00 - $65.00 per hour but are not guaranteed. Additional commission plan based upon ability to sell other roof repair and roof inspection related contracts. Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (value of $6,400.00 for individual or $15,675.00 for family annually). Employer-provided Life and AD&D Insurance, and Long Term Disability protection.
