OBJECTIVE OF JOB
Maintain and repair small engine tools, on-road passenger vehicles and semi-trucks, and off-road heavy equipment. Small tools include but not are not limited to includes generators, light towers, arrow boards, water buffalos, saws, pressure washers, brooms, tack pots, air compressors, pumps, jackhammers, vibratory plates, jumping jacks, lasers, screens, etc. On-road fleet includes but is not limited to pickups by Ford, RAM, and GMC, Peterbilt water trucks, tractors, and 10-wheelers, Ford water trucks, Wester Star Fuel & Lube trucks, International water trucks and tractors, trailers by Haulmark, Texas Bragg, Walton, Carson, Big Tex, Dargo, Transport trailers by ASVE, Murray, Cozad, Alcom, and Wells Cargo. Off-road equipment fleet includes but is not limited to CAT skid steers, skip loaders, loaders, excavators, motor graders, paver, rollers, and compactors, John Deere backhoes and skip loaders, Ingersoll-Rand rollers, Bomag rollers, Volvo excavators and rollers, Cedarrapids pickup machine, and Bomag rollers. EQUIPMENT USED IN PERFORMANCE OF THE JOB Wheel Loader, Excavator, Utility Truck, Tractor, Skid Steer, Dozer, Haul Truck, Water Truck, Welder, Torch, Hand Tools, Computer and CB Radio. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Cutting, torching, grinding, welding, rigging, use of hand tools, ability to work in a team environment safely and productively. Performs responsibilities with minimum supervision. Communicates effectively with other employees and supervisor. WORK ENVIRONMENT Shop and jobsites may contain dust, fumes, debris, low to loud levels of noise and extreme weather conditions including excessive heat or cold and rain prevalent at times. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: shoveling, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting or standing for various lengths of time, and climbing of stairs.
