About This Role: This professional will lead all HR functions for a new fabrication facility in Peshtigo, WI, focused on manufacturing critical electrical infrastructure products serving utility and energy customers. The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions including employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and workforce development. This manager will also serve as the company's primary partner to union leadership and lead the facility's HR team.

What You'll Do

* Lead talent acquisition strategy for the facility, building and managing a talent pipeline that keeps pace with the growth and headcount plan

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with union leadership and representatives

* Serve as an integral participant in collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations and renewals

* Administer and interpret the collective bargaining agreement, ensuring consistent application across the plant

* Manage grievances, arbitrations, and union-related employee relations matters

* Lead new-hire training, onboarding, and assist organizational development programs, ensuring new employees ramp up quickly and effectively

* Lead, coach, and develop the facility's HR Team

* Administer employee benefits and ensure HR compliance

* Manage employee relations and HR policy administration

* Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

* Oversee office/plant administrative functions

* Partner with department leaders on workforce planning to support growth

What You'll Bring

* Minimum of 5 years HR experience, including talent acquisition/recruiting, ideally in manufacturing

* Experience in a union environment, including CBA administration and collective bargaining support

* Experience building a talent pipeline and hiring at pace in a growth environment

* Working knowledge of HR compliance, labor law, and benefits administration

* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

* Ability to act with integrity, and professionalism, and to maintain confidentiality

Work Environment

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time.

* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

* Continuously operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, scanner, and computer printer.

* Frequently communicates with employees, supervisors, and third-party
