Title:CAD Drafter POSITION CONCEPT The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating and maintaining distribution standards, drawings, and technical documents that support the engineering design and construction of the electric distribution system. Develops drawings ranging from standard to complex and ensures all documentation ensures line personnel safety while advancing system reliability and resiliency. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RELATIONSHIPS Key Internal: DEO, REO, DCC, SPP, ECPM, ADI. Key External: Contractors, Customers, and Vendors. QUALIFICATIONS Education Required: Associate's degree in Computer Design (CAD) or Equivalent CAD Drafting Certification Preferred: Associate's degree in Engineering Technology Experience Required: 3 years of experience using standard computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Preferred: MicroStation Bentley Software Suite OUR COMPETENCIES
WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment and possible travel within the Tampa Electric Service Area.
