About the Position The Senior Finance Regulatory Specialist plays a key role in the ongoing development and execution of Ameren's regulatory initiatives and may be responsible for leading cross functional teams and providing strategic input related to regulatory initiatives. The specialists will utilize a robust understanding of the relevant regulatory frameworks to provide reports and key insights to team members. The specialists will also be responsible for preparing and filing various financial analyses to various regulatory stakeholders and may be required to discuss such analysis to various regulatory stakeholders and provide testimony supporting the analyses. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university required. CPA also required. Three or more years of accounting experience required with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards and methods preferred. Reporting experience (e.g., SEC and FERC) preferred. Master's Degree preferred. In-depth utility knowledge preferred, Ability to draw insights from complex analysis and communicate them in an understandable way is a plus. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify, analyze and research financial issues required. Strong oral communication and writing skills required. Demonstrated decision-making skills and ability to work independently required. Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $105,100.00 - $162,900.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
