You will be at the forefront of a significant brand refresh, taking full ownership of packaging projects from concept to final production, ensuring every design not only captivates but also meets stringent regulatory standards. Join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team where your expert typography, problem-solving prowess, and proactive approach will directly impact product success and brand integrity.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a global leader in the beauty industry, renowned for its innovative and sophisticated product lines, especially within the competitive skin and sun care markets. You will join a small, agile marketing and design team that thrives on proactivity, resourcefulness, and a strong sense of ownership. With a major brand refresh underway, this is an "all hands on deck" environment where your contributions are highly valued. This role offers an exciting opportunity to not only execute but also to innovate, problem-solve, and drive creative solutions from the initial concept phase through to final production, making a tangible impact on consumer perception and regulatory compliance.

  • Proactively identify and solve complex design challenges, such as optimizing limited packaging space for extensive text, and propose innovative creative solutions.
  • Develop and refine design layouts, maintaining visual consistency and strict adherence to brand guidelines across all materials.
  • Create compelling simple comps and renderings for marketing decks, including skillfully scrubbing and applying new text to existing imagery, such as product photographs.
  • Collaborate proactively and effectively with marketing and operations teams, taking initiative to clarify requirements and facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Manage and organize design files meticulously, ensuring they are production-ready and meet all necessary print specifications.
  • Adapt swiftly to ambiguous project requirements, demonstrating exceptional resourcefulness in gathering information and finding effective solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to final production, showcasing full ownership of the entire design process.
  • Highly resourceful, proactive, and an effective problem-solver, especially in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, "all hands on deck" team environment.
