Location: Sacramento, CA

Schedule: Full Time | Day / Swing / Grave Shifts

Pay: $27.00 / hour

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

This is an armed security position. Candidates must:

    Possess and maintain a current California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit

  • Meet all applicable California licensing and firearm-carry requirements for an armed security position

  • Possess a valid California driver's license held for more than one year

  • Have a clean driving record

  • Have open availability to work weekdays and weekends, including day, swing, and grave shifts

  • Be at least 21 years of age

  • Successfully complete all required background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws

JOIN ALLIED UNIVERSAL AS AN ARMED SECURITY SITE SUPERVISOR

Allied Universal Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Armed Security Site Supervisor to lead security operations at an assigned customer location in Sacramento.

This is an opportunity to take the next step in your security career while serving as a key leader on-site. The Armed Site Supervisor will oversee security personnel, help ensure a high level of service, and serve as a trusted point of contact between the customer, security officers, and Allied Universal Operations leadership.

In this role, you will lead by example, support and develop your team, respond to site concerns, and help ensure security operations consistently meet customer and company expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of professional, high-quality security services at the assigned customer location

  • Serve as a primary liaison between the customer, security officers, and Allied Universal Operations leadership

  • Provide leadership, coaching, recognition, and performance management to assigned security personnel

  • Respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations and operational issues at the client site

  • Help identify staffing needs and support recruiting, interviewing, and selection of qualified security personnel

  • Ensure officers receive appropriate training and support their continued technical and professional development

  • Conduct coaching, counseling, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions within approved guidelines

  • Address employee concerns and grievances with appropriate support from Branch or Regional Human Resources

  • Utilize scheduling, billing, and other computer systems to manage site operations and produce reports requiring interpretation and follow-up

  • Maintain strong customer service and professional communication with all levels of personnel and the general public

  • Help ensure assigned personnel and operations remain compliant with applicable company, client, licensing, and security requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Current California CCW permit required

  • Must meet all applicable California armed-security, firearm-carry, and licensing requirements

  • Valid California driver's license held for more than one year

  • Clean driving record

  • Open availability for weekdays and weekends, including assigned day, swing, or grave shifts

  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers, employees, management, and the general public

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to operate client-specific technology

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective during crisis situations

  • Ability to utilize scheduling and billing software and interpret operational reports

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced security environment

  • Successful completion of required background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws

  • Licensing requirements are subject to applicable state and local laws and may be required prior to employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to:

  • Work in a variety of environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, and heat

  • Stand and/or walk on various surfaces for extended periods

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
