What we are expecting from you

  • Lead daily quality operations within the assigned value stream to ensure product conformity, customer satisfaction, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop inspection personnel and other assigned Quality Department employees.
  • Coordinate daily inspection activities, prioritize workload, and support production schedules while maintaining required quality standards.
  • Monitor quality performance, inspection results, nonconformances, scrap, rework, customer concerns, and cost-of-quality indicators.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action activities for internal, customer, and supplier quality issues.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues, improve process capability, and support new product introductions or process changes.
  • Provide quality input for product development, process improvement, production readiness, and change management activities.
  • Support quality planning activities such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, first article inspection, and document control, as applicable to the business unit.
  • Assist with customer communication, customer visits, and supplier visits related to quality matters as required.

    Who we are looking for


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience

    • 1 year of experience leading or supervising hourly or non-exempt employees preferred.

      • American Society for Quality certification desired.
    • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, A3, 5 Why, fishbone analysis, or other structured problem-solving methods.
    • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, first article inspection, and document control.
    • Ability to use standard business software applications and specialized quality or data analysis tools.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate leadership competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, employee development, and accountability activities.
  • Six Sigma and Lean tools experience is desired.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $74510 to $123930 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
