The Warehouse Operation Manager is responsible for all tasks of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center.

You will work onsite in the warehouse. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Hire, orient, trainsand issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members.
• Approve payroll weekly.
• Equip the warehouse with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items.
• Ship UPS/FED EX/international/trucking control.
• Sourcing, negotiating and maintaining lowest freight rate and costs.
• Manage the contractor compliance program.
• Manage warehouse personnel.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one or more years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Can work inside a Corrections environment.
• Forklift Certification.
• Requires supervisory skills.
• Work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating between shift/department.
• Define problems and resolve them quickly.
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures.
• Packaging experience a plus.
• Mechanical experience with high speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
