Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for the NIGHT SHIFT.to assist the Facilities department with keeping our rapidly growing office and production facility in excellent condition. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: Perform regular inspections, cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure systems are functioning correctly. Diagnosing and repairing issues with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Implementing proactive measures to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime. Following work orders, responding to maintenance requests and documenting work completed. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Coordinating with other departments and external vendors as needed. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Performing tasks like painting, patching, and basic carpentry. Responding to urgent maintenance issues and making prompt repairs. Education, Experience, & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 5 + years' related experience in facility maintenance or repair. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility systems. Ability to diagnose issues and find effective solutions. Ability to lift, climb and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues and vendors. Ability to identify and address minor issues before they escalate. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Must have a good understanding and adhere to safety regulations and procedures. Prefer experience in building maintenance, repair, or small construction projects. Ability to use various tools. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude. The ability to utilize basic computer skills (MS Office, email communications, etc.). Work Schedule: This position will work the day shift for a few weeks before being transferred to the night shift. Day shift hours are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm - 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday Night Shift hours are 3:00 pm to 1:30 am - 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday Rantec's benefits package includes medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, ESOP, FSA, Short- and Long-Term disability, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
