Job Description The Logistics Coordinator ensures the timely and efficient movement of finished goods, equipment, raw materials and information among the company's warehouses, suppliers and business partners utilizing various modes of transportation, including ocean, truck and air. Hourly wage: $29 - $34 /hr. DOE Company Perks & Benefits * $500 Retention Bonuses paid at 6-month AND 12-month marks of employment * Up to 128 hours of Paid Time Off Annually to start (16 days) * 9 Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits * 401(k) with Employer match Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate truck and ocean transportation amongst company's distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and various other locations.
- Manage ocean carrier bookings and container movements.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, vendors and internal groups to achieve cost-effective solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
- Plan and track the movement of shipments accordingly, including updating the company's IT systems with accurate information.
- Monitor compliance of operational processes, procedures, and company policies.
- Prepare accurate and timely customer invoices related to freight forwarding activities.
- Constantly look for areas for improved efficiency and knowledge.
- Ensure all internal and external (customer, suppliers, etc.) operating procedures are documented (i.e. SOP) and followed.
- Utilize the company's network to coordinate distributor partner's trucking needs as appropriate, as well as freight forwarding activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up to date shipping data and prepare reports as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; college degree preferred.
- Must have 2-3 years related experience or training in logistics, freight forwarding and/or customer service preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely, to obtain positive results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be detail oriented and possess problem solving ability.
- Must be highly organized, with the ability to work quickly and accurately, while handling competing priorities.
- Must be able to work independently and have the ability to maintain professional composure while working with employees of different skill levels.
- Required to demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy at all times.
- Must have a high priority towards sensitive and confidential situations.

Work Environment
- This job will be a hybrid between remote and the Sumner, WA office. Must be able to work onsite as required by business needs. Remote work subject to manager approval and operational requirements.
