Position offers a starting salary range of$95,000 - $121,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA:

  • Lead inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products to all plant and external customers

  • Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs for production assembly parts

  • Control the commercial impact (team overtime, variable costs, supplier charge-backs) of the complete range of activities from receiving, warehouse stocking, delivery to Point of Use, and optimizing inventory levels

  • Responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support assigned Logistics part delivery requirements

  • Maintain a safe working environment by proactively identifying hazards and enforcing safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture through coaching, reinforcement, and accountability.

  • Monitor, track, and analyze performance indicators across all SQDCME categories. Conduct daily reviews of metric trends to identify gaps, emerging issues, and opportunities for stabilization or improvement.

  • Develop team member competencies, ensuring Training Matrix strategy supports team performance together with Team Leaders and Employees

  • Lead use of CI tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, PDCA, Gemba walks, and process mapping to address performance/part delivery gaps and facilitate small group CI events (kaizen) to tackle targeted operational challenges.

  • Ensure Logistics Lean Conformity objectives are met, and resulting TOS continuous improvement actions are in place to address gaps

  • Support the development of the Mt. Holly Plant strategic plan

Knowledge You Should Bring:

  • BS/BA in Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related field or Associate Degree and 4 years relevant experience leading teams of people in a high volume manufacturing or logistics setting OR 6 years of experience leading teams of people in a high volume manufacturing or logistics setting in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using Business Information tools to optimize team performance.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skill.
  • Microsoft office / Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, a flexible and friendly approach to working in teams, and the attitude to strive for ideal results.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have:

  • 4+ Years of Leading Teams, including Performance Management
  • Experience Leading Teams in Union Production Environment (UAW)
  • Kronos or other Time & Attendance System Experience
  • DTNA Shoptech Experience and/or IMS Experience
