The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking to hire an experienced Grants & Contracts Officer II WHAT MAKES College of Arts & Science A GREAT PLACE?
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO: The ideal candidate for this position will perform pre-award activities for the college's large, complex, and diverse portfolio of federal, state, local, and private grants, contracts, and agreements. Pre-award activities include broad duties in preparation (ex: budgets, budget justifications, etc.) and submission of grant and contract proposals in collaboration with OSPA. Ensures all applications meet agency and university guidelines and published timetables and deadlines. Ensures proposals are entered and routed in a timely manner for further review. Works with the central research office on the submission of electronic proposals and assists with problems and issues. Also interprets regulations and guidelines of multiple programs funding with complex and broad guidelines for spending. Acts as back-up for post-award G&C lls in the college when needed. Post-award activities include broad duties in award management. The essential duties and responsibilities of the Grants & Contracts Officer II are the following:
