Low Voltage Security Installer - Entry Level Location: Commercial project sites throughout the area Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Security Installer to join a growing team supporting large commercial and enterprise security projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical, cabling, or low-voltage experience who is eager to build a long-term career in the security industry. You will work alongside experienced Lead Technicians installing and servicing access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and intercom systems across a variety of commercial environments. Responsibilities * Install and terminate low-voltage cabling * Assist with the installation of security devices, including: * CCTV cameras * Card readers * Alarm panels * Related security hardware * Support access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and intercom system deployments * Follow project plans and installation standards * Work closely with Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and Installation Managers * Troubleshoot and resolve basic installation issues * Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude on customer sites * Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Required Qualifications * Experience with electrical work and/or cabling installation * Basic low-voltage installation experience * Experience installing security devices such as cameras, card readers, or alarm panels * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn * Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset * Ability to work in construction and commercial environments Preferred Qualifications * Security system programming experience * Commercial security installation experience * Leadership mentality and ability to work independently * Self-starter with strong communication skills What You'll Gain * Hands-on experience with enterprise-level security systems * Exposure to large commercial construction projects * Ongoing training and skill development * Clear path for career growth and advancement Benefits Upon Permanent Hire * Company vehicle and gas card * Company cellphone and laptop * 401(k) * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off Work Environment Projects are performed in a variety of commercial settings, including: * Schools * Hospitals * Government facilities * Warehouses * Office buildings * Large commercial construction sites Candidates should be comfortable working in active construction environments and varying weather conditions. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
