Title:Athletics Department Assistant

Position Summary:

Duke University Athletics Association is seeking a qualified candidate for the Athletics Department Assistant position. This is a part time position (benefits ineligible) and this person will report to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Required:Bachelor's degree. Must have a valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

* Excellent written and oral skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively

* Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail

* Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

Essential Functions:

* Assist with marketing and external affairs support as the position demands

* Provide assistance with operational needs

* Support the executive team as assigned

* Must adhere to all Duke University, ACC & NCAA rules, and regulations.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.00 to USD $24.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
