You will own the strategy, execution, and delivery of one or more products in the asset portfolio.
Working with your leaders, you will shape product strategy, define product roadmaps, interview end users, and guide teams in delivering and launching meaningful, user-centric advanced analytics and agentic solutions. Working with a cross-functional team of domain experts and technical colleagues, you'll tackle delivery obstacles, prioritize high-value features, and foster innovation to address client and business objectives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. AI engineers, data scientists, data engineers) to ensure product success. By leading user discovery sessions, you will build empathy and understanding within the team to align product development with user needs. You will identify and address delivery barriers, manage dependencies, and negotiate with stakeholders to maximize value within tight timelines and budgets. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-focused products.
You'll be working in one of our North American offices in our Life Sciences practice. You will help revolutionize how Pharma and MedTech companies connect with their customers to improve human lives. You will be working in a team that is fully integrated with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey.
Your contributions will help solve complex challenges for clients and colleagues. Partnering with subject matter experts, engineers, and designers, you will align product development with industry needs and client goals. Your work will shape software solutions that enhance usability, quality, and predictability, driving lasting impact for internal and external stakeholders.
You will lead the creation of innovative advanced analytics and agentic capabilities that deliver value to clients and drive meaningful outcomes. Based in our entrepreneurial and collaborative team, you will help shape McKinsey's shift toward asset-based consulting by fostering innovation through analytics, design thinking, and emerging technologies. Your work will focus on building product roadmaps, defining MVP functionality, and guiding teams to launch impactful solutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience that demonstrates end-to-end complex problem solving from ideation to post-launch through product/technology development
  • Experience with building enterprise facing products that are adopted by enterprise users, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
  • Prior experience building AI products specifically with exposure to Agentic AI solutions and AI-enabled software ecosystems. Experience in Life Sciences or Commercial domain will be a plus
  • Ability to partner with engineering to shape functional requirements, address technical debt, and ensure readiness for release
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g. DevSecOps, specs-driven development, agentic PDLC, testing practices continuous integration, etc.)
  • Experience running complex problem and user discovery, competitive analysis, and shaping a product's value proposition
  • Proficient with roadmaps, drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, creating/grooming product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, story-lining presentations and evaluating role and experience managing multiple leadership requirements in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent analytical skills and data driven approach to constantly analyze user feedback and analytics report
  • Willingness to travel and co-locate depending on product and initiative needs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives, seniority levels, and levels of technical expertise

      To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $195,300 - $199,200 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest

      to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
      organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
      and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
