Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Assistant for our Columbus, OH location.

Despite our growth, we have stayed true to our family-owned and operated roots-where employees are recognized as individuals and our culture remains a top priority Responsibilities * Performs all tasks related to warehouse and office cosmetic improvements including but not limited to: * Painting of floors, walls, and trim * Wall mounting of pictures, shelves, clocks, etc. * Mowing grass/Shoveling snow * Trimming weeds * Removing trash from around the building * Shuts off gas, water, and electric supply in the case of an emergency * Performs monthly inspections of all fire extinguishers in accordance with company guidelines * Completes items from the maintenance checklist daily * Ensures the detailed cleanliness of the warehouse and office Qualifications * The ability to wear safety equipment as provided by management * The ability to adapt to varying environmental condition * The ability to lift object up to 50 pounds. Additional Information This is a Monday- Friday role. No Weekends!
