Join Macquarie's Market Services as a North American Gas Settlements Analyst. Sitting within the Market Service, the Operations Division is responsible for the operational infrastructure required to support the settlement of a variety of financial and physical products in support of our Commodity Markets and Finance division. The division works in a time sensitive environment in which accuracy of processing, timely escalation and communication within the division, the businesses, the Risk Management Group, correspondent banks and custodians is essential to ensuring a smooth settlement process. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will provide essential, business aligned operational support to the Commodities and Global Markets group. You will support end to end processes for physical gas trading activities, ensuring the accurate and timely settlement, reconciliation, and actualization of gas pipeline volumes.
You will work closely with stakeholders across trading, risk, treasury, and finance to perform decentralized reconciliations of books and records, resolve discrepancies, and support treasury related activities. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time sensitive processes while maintaining data integrity. You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts by leveraging data, workflow, or basic programming tools where applicable to enhance efficiency and reporting.



What you offer

*Minimum 2+ years of experience in trade support, settlements, or operations within commodities, energy, or financial markets
*Working knowledge of natural gas settlements, including pipeline volume actualization, reconciliations, and exception management
*Experience performing books and records reconciliations and supporting treasury related activities
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time sensitive processes in a high volume environment
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across trading, risk, treasury, and finance teams
*Experience using data, workflow, or reporting tools such as Python, R, Alteryx, or Power BI is preferred and supports process improvement initiatives
