We are looking for a hands-on operator who thrives on optimizing complex systems and delivering exceptional results. As a key contributor, you will own the administrative and build tasks for a sophisticated marketing automation platform, ensuring its peak performance and strategic alignment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your deep technical knowledge to influence critical marketing operations, drive personalized customer experiences, and provide the analytical foundation for informed decision-making. Your work will directly enhance campaign efficiency, data integrity, and overall marketing effectiveness, making a tangible difference in how this enterprise engages with its audience.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the marketing automation platform's administration, including workspaces, partitions, roles, permissions, and overall instance health.
  • Design, build, and execute smart campaigns, encompassing both batch and trigger methodologies, with meticulous attention to flow steps, wait steps, and campaign processing priorities.
  • Develop and manage smart lists and segmentation strategies, enabling dynamic content delivery and segment-driven personalization.
  • Lead the development of emails and templates, utilizing HTML and Velocity scripting, to create modular, dynamic, and localized content.
  • Construct landing pages, forms, and programs, leveraging tokens and program templates for efficient deployment.
  • Oversee comprehensive data management, including imports, deduplication, list hygiene, field management, and CRM synchronization to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage and optimize platform integrations, utilizing REST and Bulk APIs, webhooks, and LaunchPoint services.
  • Ensure robust deliverability, monitoring sending performance, bounces, and Sent-versus-Delivered behavior.
  • Conduct thorough reporting and analytics, coupled with disciplined QA and pre-send validation processes, to ensure campaign integrity and performance insights.


Required Skills & Experience



  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a marketing automation platform operator.
  • Proven expertise in full platform administration, including instance configuration and health.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage smart campaigns, smart lists, and segmentation.
  • Proficiency in email and template development, including HTML and Velocity scripting.
  • Experience with landing page, form, and program creation, including tokens and program templates.
  • Strong background in data management, including imports, deduplication, list hygiene, and CRM sync.
  • Familiarity with integrations such as REST and Bulk APIs, webhooks, and LaunchPoint services.
  • Understanding of deliverability fundamentals, including sending, bounces, and Sent-versus-Delivered behavior.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics, and a commitment to disciplined QA and pre-send validation.
  • Comfort operating in a complex, high-volume, multi-program marketing automation instance.
