Job Description:

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, based in our Danbury, CT facility.

In this role, you will support manufacturing operations in the Advanced Coatings group by driving process improvements, troubleshooting production and equipment issues, and implementing solutions that enhance quality, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate across teams to execute projects, maintain process documentation, and leverage data to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Support current systems and processes for Advanced Coating materials. This will include monitoring process health and investigating deviations, authoring and maintaining process documentation, and leading continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.

  • Investigate product or process failures and abnormalities, determine root cause, build corrective action plan and drive that plan to completion.

  • Implementation of improvements that help Entegris achieve its goal of being a best-in-class organization providing the highest quality product to its customers at the lowest possible cost.

  • Completion of critical projects in a manner that satisfies the customer (internal or external) within the agreed upon timeline and budget.

  • Support the Process and Manufacturing teams, Operators, Technicians to monitor and address reliability issues as they arise, troubleshoot complex issues, develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

  • Lead equipment reliability projects and equipment continuous improvement projects for OEE (overall equipment effectiveness.)

  • Create, release, and train operators on maintenance Work Instruction, Troubleshooting Guides (TSG), Response Flow Checklists (RFCs)

  • Use the data to drive predictive maintenance and improve detection to equipment operational changes.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or similar technical degree

  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with equipment control systems, automation, and electro-mechanical assemblies

  • Ability to use Statistical Process Control, DOE, and Lean/Six sigma concepts in conjunction with statistical analysis software such as Minitab to monitor and improve a manufacturing process

  • Able to work fully on-site in both a lab and office environment

  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects in an ISO/GMP environment

  • Experience using MES systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or other design software

  • Clean room experience a plus; some handling of toxic materials required
