Engineering Manager, Infrastructure & Industrial Factory Design

engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure development from concept to handover. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, construction and project management. This role requires you to be extremely detail oriented, identify real hard barriers, and drive the cross-functional teams to execute at high quality. You will drive collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, production and operations to
ensure our team's goals are aligned with company priorities. We are a demanding and fast-paced environment, so being self-motivated and disciplined is critical.

• Organize and manage design reviews, construction design packages and deliverables to support all aspects of construction; including scope of work, kick-off
• Define strategies for design and engineering deliverables including construction and permit packages
• Own the full design and engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure development from concept to delivery to meet ouraggressive goals
• Manage permitting and construction documents including transmittals and RFI's
• Own project funding request process in collaboration with construction team
• Coordinate project schedule with construction team based on Procurement and Construction requirements for the overall schedule success of the project
• Fundamentally understand stakeholder's requirements and translate them into project deliverables
• Distill, document and manage scope effectively to support highly dynamic environment
• Manage all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction
• Identify resource requirements and highlight gaps across various stages for all projects
  

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical) or a related field, or equivalent experience; PE/RA license or other relevant certifications are highly desirable or equivalent relevant experience
• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in industrial facility or plant design/engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management capacity
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams within A/E firms and delivering complex industrial projects; proven record in delivery of IFB, IFP and IFC packages
• Full understanding of all engineering disciplines and ability to demonstrate skills to manage engineering resources; subcontractor or third-party consulting firm experience managing resource forecasting, project budgets, and gross margin is an asset
• Experience designing production facilities, workplace and site infrastructure development
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes, manufacturing layouts, and facility systems (power distribution, process piping, material handling, cleanrooms, or hazardous materials is a plus)
• Advanced project management skills, demonstrated application of project and program management fundamentals to complex engineering problems
• Experience working with AHJ's and ability to build strong relationship with local jurisdictions, navigate regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to effectively execute many projects and tasks in parallel
• Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, or equivalent); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is advantageous
