We are looking for a detail-oriented Lease Payment Analyst to support a fast-paced finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing lease payment operations across a large portfolio, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. You will be at the heart of critical financial processes, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain seamless operations and resolve complex issues, directly contributing to the company's financial integrity. Responsibilities
- Provide essential day-to-day finance support for a comprehensive lease portfolio.
- Review and process lease invoices with precision and efficiency.
- Support robust payment processing and accounts payable workflows.
- Perform and meticulously review landlord reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal Real Estate, Lease Accounting, and Finance partners.
- Collaborate with landlords and third-party partners to swiftly resolve invoice, payment, or reconciliation inquiries.
- Handle and interpret large, complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
- Manage multiple competing priorities adeptly in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Research discrepancies thoroughly and support timely issue resolution.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, payment processing, lease administration, or a closely related financial role.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP systems.
- Proven experience in reviewing and processing invoices accurately.
- Solid experience in payment processing or accounts payable functions.
- Experience working effectively with external vendors, landlords, or third-party partners.
- Proficiency in performing or reviewing financial reconciliations.
- Strong ability to handle and interpret large data sets.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Robust financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Specific experience in lease administration or lease accounting.
- Background in real estate, property accounting, or facilities finance.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software.
