The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and reliability of all mechanical systems at Covestro's South Deerfield facility. This role supports shift mechanics with day-to-day maintenance needs and collaborates with other departments on projects. Daily activities include evaluating, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems within the extrusion process, including process equipment, rotating equipment, material handling equipment, and central utilities. The starting pay for this role is $36.63/hour. This is a full-time role that includes competitive pay, annual bonus potential, generous paid time off, 401K with company match, retirement contribution, tuition reimbursement, parental leave and medical, dental and vision coverage (no waiting period).
