Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Events & Rentals Specialist provides direct client and administrative support with the goal of achieving the successful execution of internal and external events at the Omaha North Corps. This position acts as the primary client liaison to assure events are executed according to contracted details while delivering exceptional service and clear communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, journalism, or public relations or a related field and 3-5 years of related experience in development, marketing, events management, or related field is required. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must hold a valid ServSafe certification or be able to attain within 30 days of employment. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army. In addition, portions of the primary work facility may be considered humid (natatorium) while other locations (gymnasium) may be considered moderately loud in nature.
