As a Maintenance Technician at our Medway facility, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, facility systems, and infrastructure.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate activities across safety, quality, production, and material handling functions to support operational goals.
  • Apply standard systems, processes, and procedures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance.
  • Work collaboratively with production and support teams to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
YOU HAVE:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or related education preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, and repair practices.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
  • Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
  • This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently.
  • Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$18.90 - $35.00 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
